డోమలపెంట: శ్రీశైలం ఘాట్ రోడ్డులోని ఆక్టోపస్ వ్యూ పాయింట్ సమీపంలో ఈరోజు ఘోర రోడ్డు ప్రమాదం చోటుచేసుకుంది. అమంగల్ వైపు వెళ్తున్న స్విఫ్ట్ డిజైర్ కారు (TS 11 UB 8531), శ్రీశైలం వైపు వస్తున్న స్ప్లెండర్ బైక్ (TS 15 FD 4022) ఎదురెదురుగా బలంగా ఢీకొన్నాయి.
ఈ ప్రమాదంలో బైక్ నడుపుతున్న కృష్ణ అనే వ్యక్తికి తీవ్ర గాయాలయ్యాయి. చికిత్స నిమిత్తం ఆసుపత్రికి తరలిస్తుండగా మార్గమధ్యంలోనే ఆయన ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. ప్రస్తుతం మృతదేహాన్ని అచ్చంపేట ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రి మార్చురీలో భద్రపరిచారు.
కారులో నలుగురు వ్యక్తులు శ్రీశైలం నుండి అమంగల్ వెళ్తుండగా, బైక్ పై ఉన్న ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులు సంగారెడ్డి నుండి శ్రీశైలం వస్తుండగా డోమలపెంటకు 15 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఈ ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. కారు డ్రైవర్ అమంగల్ మండలం సాగిబండ తండాకు చెందిన జైపాల్ నాయక్ అని గుర్తించారు. పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసుకుని దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్నారు.
Domalapenta: A fatal road accident occurred near the Octopus View Point on the Srisailam-Achampet highway, approximately 15 KM from Domalapenta. A Swift Dzire car (TS 11 UB 8531) heading towards Amangal collided head-on with a Splendor bike (TS 15 FD 4022) traveling in the opposite direction from Sangareddy to Srisailam.
The bike rider, identified as Krishna, sustained critical injuries and passed away while being shifted to the hospital. His body is currently kept at the Achampet Government Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
The car was driven by Jaipal Naik, a resident of Saghibanda Thanda, Amangal. At the time of the accident, there were four passengers in the car. Local police reached the spot and are investigating the cause of the collision.
