నల్గొండ జిల్లాలో మత్స్యశాఖ అధికారి లంచం తీసుకుంటూ అవినీతి నిరోధక శాఖ (ఏసీబీ) అధికారులకు రెడ్ హ్యాండెడ్గా పట్టుబడ్డారు.
ఓ వ్యక్తి నుంచి రూ. 20,000 లంచం తీసుకుంటుండగా జిల్లా మత్స్యశాఖ అధికారి చరితారెడ్డిని ఏసీబీ అధికారులు పట్టుకున్నారు. కార్యాలయంలోనే ఈ తనిఖీ జరిగింది.
చరితారెడ్డిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్న అనంతరం, ఆమె కార్యాలయంలో ఏసీబీ అధికారులు తనిఖీలను ముమ్మరం చేశారు. అక్రమాస్తులు లేదా ఇతర అవినీతి లావాదేవీలకు సంబంధించిన ఆధారాల కోసం వారు రికార్డులను పరిశీలిస్తున్నారు.
లంచం కేసులో పట్టుబడిన నిందితురాలు చరితారెడ్డిని ఏసీబీ అధికారులు న్యాయస్థానంలో హాజరుపరచనున్నారు. అనంతరం ఆమెను రిమాండ్కు తరలించనున్నట్లు ఏసీబీ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. తమ ఫిర్యాదుదారుడి నుంచి లంచం డిమాండ్ చేసినట్లు నిర్ధారణ కావడంతోనే ఈ ట్రాప్ నిర్వహించినట్లు అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.
