మన్ననూర్ నుంచి దోమలపెంట వరకు ఉన్న అటవీ మార్గంలో శ్రీశైలం వెళ్లే శివ స్వాములు, వాహన దారులు ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్థాలను అడవిలో పారవేయకుండా ఫౌండేషన్ ప్రతినిధులు బ్యానర్ల ద్వారా వివరిస్తున్నారు. ప్లాస్టిక్ వల్ల జంతువులు, చెట్లు ఎలా నశిస్తున్నాయో, ప్లాస్టిక్ లేని చోట పచ్చదనం, జల వనరులు ఎలా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతాయో ఈ సందర్భంగా వివరించారు. ఫౌండేషన్ వ్యవస్థాపకుడు చారకొండ బాలకృష్ణ మరియు ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి మంత్రాల శ్రీను మాట్లాడుతూ.. ప్రతి వారం ఒక గ్రామంలో ఈ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహిస్తామని, భవిష్యత్తులో ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యంతో నల్లమలను ప్లాస్టిక్ రహితంగా మారుస్తామని తెలిపారు. ఈ పోరాటంలో విద్యార్థులు, ఉద్యోగులు, రాజకీయ నాయకులు కలిసి రావాలని వారు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

Achampet/Mannanur: To protect the fragile ecosystem of the Nallamala forest, the GG Foundation has launched a weekly awareness drive titled "No Plastic in Nallamala - Environment First." The campaign focuses on educating the public and pilgrims about the devastating impact of plastic on trees and wildlife.
During the ongoing Srisailam pilgrimage, foundation members are guiding devotees traveling from Mannanur to Domalapenta to avoid littering plastic waste in the forest. Founder Charakonda Balakrishna and General Secretary Mantrala Srinu explained that plastic-free zones witness better greenery and groundwater levels. They urged students, employees, and political leaders to join hands in their mission to make Nallamala surroundings completely plastic-free. The foundation aims to scale this movement to every village in the vicinity with public participation.
