Achampet/Bhourapur: The celestial wedding (Kalyana Mahotsavam) of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy was performed with religious fervor at Bhourapur Chenchupenta in the Nallamala forest. Nagarkurnool MP Dr. Mallu Ravi and Achampet MLA Chikkudu Vamsi Krishna participated in the festivities organized by the Tribal Welfare Department.
Developmental Grants for the Temple: MP Mallu Ravi praised the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Chenchu tribes and announced a grant of ₹10 Lakhs from his MPLADS funds for providing immediate amenities like drinking water, electricity, and rest houses for devotees. MLA Vamsi Krishna added that plans are being drafted to develop the area as a spiritual tourism hub, which would also create employment opportunities for local tribal communities. He assured that the matter would be taken to the notice of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for further funding.
